Zonkah ate a bug
Hi Terra
Hope all is well with you and your family. Thought I'd send ya a quick
update on the kids. They are the most amazing cats I've ever had. I'm
just so in love with these kitties.

They both are growing so quickly. Zonkah is at 7.5 lbs and Zita is 7
lbs. They have learned very quickly that a click from the clicker is a
treat or calls them to come eat. They love running on the cat-wheel
(it's so funny when I can hear them on it at night) and are doing really
well with leash training. They are also learning to jump through a 15"
hoop. They do almost anything to please and get a treat!

Zita has remained a total love bug, she is most happy when she gets to
sit on my shoulder. She would be a great show cat cause she really
loves being held and handled - and has a constant purr. Her disposition
is amazingly geared to human companionship. She brings her toys (balls
and mice) to me all the time, and she enjoys playing fetch. She is also
an excellent climber and is fearless - nothing is too tall for her.

Zonkah is a bit more independent, he likes to be praised and pet and
then leave. But he also has a cuddly side to him. He voluntarily
climbs into my lap when I go into their room to get them up and feed in
the morning. He is very strong and observes everything with determined
concentration. When he plays he is very acrobatic and loves to perform
high jumps and flips in the air while trying to catch a toy. He is also
the more vocal kitty (although they both are pretty quiet for the most
part). He actually has this really cute "question" sound he makes when
he experiences new things.

What they love right now is playing outside (in the enclosed courtyard), especially with the warmer
weather. You were right that they would tear the plants apart. But
they love it so I don't care. They also love chewing on the bark and
bringing piles of it inside (along with long fern fronds). I've
attached a couple pictures of them in their little "playground". The
pictures don't do justice at showing how beautifully glittery their
coats are.
