Hi Terra:
I thought you would like another update.
I have finally settled on a name, it was a hard choice, not sure why, but it was. I've named her Questa.
She still loves to dig in the litter & when it goes high in the air, she turns around and chases it, I think she thinks it is a game. She does the same with water, needless to say she has graduated to the bathtub with the drapes closed as she gets water everywhere. And the dog's water bowl she thinks is pretty cool as well. I've just found a very high backed litter box, so I am going to try that. I also think she was to dig to Australia or something, because she seems pretty serious on her digging. LOL! She can be quite the comedienne.
Also, you can't dangle your feet over the bed, she uses under the bed as her fort and will attack you when you are not expecting it. Once she gets you, she purrs really loud, almost like a "yahoo" and then bolts to parts unknown.
She has me trained with her chicken, I have finally gotten the portions right, and she thinks she is big enough to open the refrigerator door, and gets a little perplexed when it doesn't open as she wills it!
And, dog toys are spectacular in her book and the dog toy box is quite the fort. She really wants to play tug, and the lab goes, nah, your are still too small, let's try when you are a little bigger. She really is a snuggler, I didn't know Bengals were like that and she will rub on you and then roll over onto her back as she loves her belly rubbed.
I have tried to get pictures, but right now they are all a blur, because as soon as she hears the beep and I get a focus, she darts to go do something else, so all I can get is this blur of fur. LOL I keep trying, maybe I will get lucky soon.
Also, I pick her up today from the vet, she was spayed on Monday and I will get a copy of the paperwork as soon as she gets settled back in. That is provided they will give her back. I saw her early this morning as they really want you to visit the patients as they believe it reduces the stress (she didn't looked stress, but more of queen of the roost, she wasn't even in the cage, they had her out on the desk), and they all said they wanted to take her home.
She still is facinated with the color blue, anything blue she seems to gravitate to, it is the strangest thing. I asked my vet, and she said that was weird, just like you said. But, she had a blue & black pen in her pocket, and Questa went straight for the blue pen. We had a good chuckle over that one. Somehow I have to get that on tape her choosing blue over another color.
Well, a short note turned into a longer one, sorry about that.
Hope all is well with you & yours,
Mica
