1.)cat carrier (note: we will not let you take the kitten from our cattery unless you have a carrier to put your cat in. So please bring one with you!)
2.)A blanket or bedding for the carrier (note: we may provide your kitten's favorite blanket or towel for you but bring bedding just in case)
3.)A small toy to keep your kitten occupied on the trip home.
4.)Cash to make the final payment with. (Note:We will not accept checks for the final payment, if you don't bring cash, we will ask you to go to an ATM and get cash before you can take kitty home)
5.)If you have a long drive ahead of you, bring a small litter box with litter in it. Your cat may need to go potty on the way and if you have the litter box she/he will be much more comfortable, and so will you because you won't be cleaning out a poopy carrier.
6.) If you have a long drive ahead of you, you might want to bring an ice chest with an ice pack with you to put kitty's raw food in so it doesn't thaw out on the way home.
How To Prepare For Your Kitten's Arrival
What to have on hand:
1.)Ingredients and tools to make the raw meat recipe that your kitty will be eating(if you are going to continue to feed what I feed).
The recipe is
here
You will also need a meat grinder. I got mine from here:

2.)Premium cat food (if you're going to give some commercial food or going to switch your kitten to a commercial diet) Wet is better than dry. Even if you are going to feed a commercial diet, it is recommended you give your kitty some raw meat 3-4 times per week as a supplement.
3.)Any type of pro biotic such as bene-bac. You can find probiotics at any pets store. Just ask the store clerk if you don't know what it is.
4.)A scratching post or a cat tree. The taller the better.
5.)toys
6.)a cat bed
7.)nail clippers. If you don't know how to clip nails, please ask me to show you before you leave.
8.)Food dishes
9.)litter box and cat litter. Any type of litter EXCEPT clumping. Clumping litter can be dangerous to kittens because it can clump in the intestines and cause blockage. Your kitten will already be trained to use the litter box with clay non-clumping litter, in case you want to use the same type of litter.
How To Prepare The House For Your New Kitten
Note:You want to do these things before your kitten even arrives so the transition will be as smooth and worry free as possible.
1.)Make an appointment with your vet for your kittens first vet check. Please let the vet know you will not be getting vaccinations for the first vet check, that it is just a wellness check.
2.)If you have other cats, prepare a quiet area where your cat can be quarantined for the 72 hour quarantine period. A small space such as a bathroom works best. Put a bed in there, the food dishs, some toys and the litter box. Also put a cubby or a carrier or something your kitten can go inside of if he/she becomes frightened. If you don't have cats, you dont need to quarantine.
3.)Buy your cat's food ahead of time. You will get some food that the cat is used to eating from me but you don't want to run out of food before you can make the switch. The switch has to be over the course of about 1-2 weeks if you are switching foods. Although you will get about a months supply of food from me so you can have enough time to get everything you need.
4.) Make sure toxic house plants are out of reach (for a bengal 'out of reach' might be higher than you expect)
