How Can I Get On The Waiting List?
There is a fee to get on the waiting list. Maintaining waiting lists, contacting people, having to wait on descisions and other things involved in maintaining the waiting list takes a lot of time and effort. The waiting list fee is as follows:
$100 for pet kitten
$300 for breeder kitten (note: we only sell breeders to TICA registered catteries)
The fee is non-refundable but will go toward the purchase price of the kitten. We put people on the waiting list in the order we receive them. When the type of kitten your waiting for is available to you, we will contact you. You will then have a specified time to make a decision to purchase or pass on the particular kitten. If you decide to pass on the kitten offered, you will remain on the waiting list and wait for the next litter to be born. Eveyone on the waiting list has the right of refusal for any kitten offered. If you do not make a decision within the specified time frame or refuse any particular kitten, we will automatically make the kitten available to the next person on the list, but you will still have a pick from the next kitten available to you. Pocket Leopards reserves the right to hold back any kitten that we choose for ourselves regardless of how many people are on the waiting list or to offer the kitten to anyone that we had prior arrangements with. We will not contact you about any kitten that your not waiting for. For example: if your waiting for a silver spotted we will not contact you about a brown spotted.
Since it takes work to maintain the lists, and to contact people, and since we may have passed up a sale to offer you any particular kitten first, the waiting list fee is NON-REFUNDABLE should you change your mind at any time. If we should change our mind about selling to you for some reason, we will refund your fee.
To get on the waiting list, you must fill out the waiting list application/questionnaire by clicking here.
For those not on the waiting list, if a kitten becomes available, it will be a first come-first served basis (but only to approved homes) AFTER those on the waiting list have had a chance to decide o pass. Please be aware that if you do not get on the waiting list, there is no guarantee you'll ever be picked since new ones are being added to the waiting list all of the time. If the waiting list gets too long for any particular type of kitten, we will stop accepting new people for that waiting list. So it's best to get on the list whenever there is an opening.
Please understand that we will only place our kittens into the best, most loving homes possible. The information we collect on the application is so that we can match up any prospective buyers with the best kitten for them. We will never give or sell your info to anyone.
After we review your application we will contact you to discuss any potential problems or to let you know that it is ok for you to get on the list (if you want to be on the waiting list) or to notify you that we have added you to the waiting list.
At that time you can pay fo the waiting list fee (via Paypal, check or money order) if you're being added to the waiting list.
Once you are added to either waiting lists, we will contact you via email with any litter announcements, kitten updates and pictures, videos, ect.
Once you choose a kitten you will be required to submit a non-refundable(but applies towards the purchase price)$300.00 down payment to hold that kitten until it is ready to go home with you.
